Want
to take you diving to the next level? Well look no
further! Become a PADI Adventure Diver today and start
experiencing the exciting adventures the world of diving
has to offer.
The
Adventure Diver program is the perfect opportunity to
gain additional experience and skills under the guidance
of a PADI professional.
To
become a PADI Adventure Diver you need your PADI Open
Water certification (or equivalent) and the desire to
experience thrilling adventures. This in-water
performance based program includes a total of three
dives from the list below:

If
you're 15 or older, and a PADI Open Water Diver or
equivalent, then you're ready for the Adventure Diver
program. Or, if you're a PADI Junior Open Water Diver or
equivalent and between the ages of 10-14, there's the
PADI Junior Adventure Diver program.
After
successfully completing the program, you'll receive the
PADI Adventure Diver certification. Now, take the next
step! Complete two more adventure dives (must include
deep and navigation) and become a PADI Advanced Open
Water Diver.

This program will continue your
open water adventure with minimal or no classroom and no pool
sessions, just more fun diving! Besides allowing you to dive more,
it gives you additional skills, and supervised experience. These
dives will help in the development of your diving skills and give
you a taste of specialty diving, and as a bonus these dives can be
credited towards that particular specialty diver courses, and or
your Master Scuba Diver certification.
Course Data;
The Advanced Open Water Diver course includes;
Classroom sessions, and the loan of
the Advanced Open Water Video(for at home study)
Five Open Water Dives. These
include two core dives Deep and Navigation as well as three
electives to be chosen from the list above
Required personal equipment:
- Mask, fins and snorkel*
- Bouyancy control device (BCD)
- Submersible pressure gauge,
depth gauge and compass
- Weight system
- Regulator and alternate air source
- Exposure suit
- Dive knife*
- Recreational Dive Planner*
- Timing device (dive watch)*
- Underwater primary light, backup
light and tank marker light (needed only if taking the Night
Dive)*
- Whistle*
- Log book*
- Slate or Quest slate*
*You will be required to own
these items (other equipment can be rented for the weekend for
$35.00)
Course Fees:
The cost of the PADI Advanced Open
Water Diver Course is $160 + student Kit $45.00 =$205.00 includes
classroom training, Open Water dives and
your
PADI Advanced Open Water Certification card
